We all know that video viewership online is alive and well and growing, right? Well, a recently-released Pew Internet report confirms that daily traffic to video sites on a typical day has doubled in the past year.

Tapping into this killer wave is critical for non profit organizations. But in addition to creating content, uploading and tracking it across sites can be time-consuming and is often overlooked.

I’m always looking for shortcuts to share. So here’s one I found – tubemogul and I’m really exited about what they can offer non profits – for free. Upload a video to their site and they will distribute the content across 12 other videosharing sites including YouTube, MySpace, Blip.tv, Google video, and Yahoo video. That can cut out lots of time in and of itself.

But after the video is deployed, they will collect analytics across the sites and deliver it to you in a nifty little dashboard. You can also track buzz for keywords and tags on all videos – besides your own – to see what’s hot and what’s not.
