He is 5’8″, weighs 104 lbs, and is making history — a baby great white shark has joined the denizens of the Aquarium’s million gallon Outer Bay tank.

He arrived, shaky but well, at about 6 PM last night Pacific time.

The Aquarium is the only place in the country that has successfully kept a white shark in captivity, and this little guy is only the second one. He’s already scaring the crap out of the Galapagos sharks and massive bluefin tuna, but the idea is to keep him too well-fed to munch on his tankmates.
