I learned almost everything i know about fundraising from Roger Craver.

One of the things he drilled into my head early and often was the need to pay special attention to existing donors and extra super special attention to the donors who care about you.

Roger has a fabulous post in The Agitator  today describing the death spiral organizations can find themselves in if you spend too much time fishing for new donors and not enough time cultivating the ones you’ve got.

How many times do we need to hear this before it affects how we work?
